CEO of hating personal bio’s

I’ll start by saying that there’s nothing worse for me than writing little bio’s like this. It makes me cringe and feel weird inside. But you were so kind to have gotten this far, so here we go.

I’m Hannah, and the face behind the camera. I started this gig at the tail end of college while pursuing a degree in graphic design. I took a few photography classes for a minor and quickly discovered that photography was my true love. We’ve been soul mates ever since. Awwwww.

My favorite part of this job is capturing a couple’s personality together and have it shine through the images. My dream clients are those who forget I’m there, are willing to get their shoes a little dirty for that gorgeous shot and keep the big picture in mind - that they’re in love. My mission is to capture your big moments the way they really happened. That means the good, the unplanned, the oopsies and the weird. I love seeing how each couple makes their day unique to them. It’s the ultimate honor to be a part of wedding days + witnessing stories that inspire me to love better. It’s the best job around, and it never gets old.

I pull inspiration from shooting outdoors, whether thats in a field, on the beach or overlooking the Grand Canyon. And NOTHING makes me giddy like a good golden hour. My specialty is the candid, in-between shots that have big meaning. I’m based out of Indianapolis, but am available to travel throughout the midwest + beyond. You can find a golden hour no matter where you go ;)

Some quick facts that you probably don’t care about but OH WELL:

I don’t drink coffee. And to answer your next question: yes, I am a human.
I’m an enneagram junkie. To the point that it annoys every member of my family. I’m a heavy 6w7 AKA a walking contradiction.
I was a competitive gymnast for 8ish years and can still handstand with the best of ‘em.
I can lick my elbow. If you don’t think that’s cool, try it. Because I guarantee you can’t.
I was prom queen. (Ugh I do hate myself for putting this, but it’s an inside joke between a lot of my friends and I. Sorry…please still hire me)

Meet Jordan. He’s my cutie husband and unofficial CFO of Hannah Crabb Photography. We started dating in college, got married in September 2018 and have been annoying one another ever since :) We are polar opposites but equally weird, so it works. He’s my steady hand + safe place and I couldn’t be more blessed to call him mine.

Some facts about Jordan:

When I’m off shooting weddings on weekends, you’ll find him on the golf course or watching any/every sport on TV. Faves include Cubs, IU basketball and college football.
He’s an enneagram 8, but don’t ask him about it because he WILL roll his eyes at you. Fun fact, enneagram 8’s are the one number I always said I could NEVER marry. But God has some jokes hahaha.
If Jordan could meet anyone, it would be the one + only Harvey Specter from the show Suits. If Harvey were a real person, I’m pretty sure Jordan would leave me for him and not think twice about it. I’ve accepted it.
